Board of Adjustment

The Town of White Spring is seeking 5 members and 2 alternates for the Board of Adjustment. Per Section 8.02, Amended Charter, "[t]here shall be a Board of Adjustment and the Board shall provide standards and procedures to hear and determine special exceptions, appeals from administrative decision, petitions for variances in the case of peculiar and unusual circumstances which would prevent the reasonable use of land and such other matters as may be required by the Town Council or by law."

Members of the board shall hold no employment with the Town nor hold any other appointed or elected position within the Town. Members do not need to be an elector of the Town or reside in the Town.

If interested, please submit a written statement to the Clerk by January 13th or appear at the January 13th Town Council Meeting to express your interest in serving on the Board.
